
For this activity you will be taking 8 photos and trying to demonstrate capturing motion. Experiment with your method here. Move the subject. Move the camera. Move both. Sit on a chair that spins to create an even blur. Stop and start the motion mid-shot. Try long exposure times. Try daytime photos and night-time photos. There’s a lot you can do here.

The introduction to this task will be completed as a class, at the school. We will discuss the settings and approach required to create the desired effects, and then as a class, we will go outside to practice the techniques.

upload images to Flickr and organize into an album named ‘CAPTURING MOTION’.

name each photo based on the chart, and in the description, describe how the effect was created.
