In preparation for our ISU we will look at wordmarks and logos, and consider what these elements do for a brand. We will consider how they are used, and the considerations a designer must face when planning a rebranding exercise. We will also consider how colour, typography, negative space, and imagery affect a brand, with some specific reference to well known brands. We will compare and contrast what works well with what does not. We will also look at the difference that subtle differences can make.
